Young people from around the world are invited to share stories about their climate actions in 3-minute video presentations in the third annual Global Youth Video Competition on Climate Change.
The two themes this year, Climate friendly and resilient cities and Oceans and climate change, are highly important because by 2050:

- almost 3/4 of the world’s population is expected to reside in cities
- the world’s plastic littered oceans could be without fish
- global warming could disrupt 4/5 of the world’s oceans

The contest, open to people from 18-30, runs through August 18, when submissions must be submitted to the tvebiomovies online platform .
The two winners will attend November’s UN Climate Change Conference (COP23) in Bonn, Germany as part of the UNFCCC newsroom team of young reporters.
The competition is co-organized by the UNFCCC secretariat and the UNDP-GEF Small Grants Programme, and implemented by Television for the Environment-tve.
